Jesse Snyder  www.jessenowjerome.com is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who recently released his first solo album, entitled MUSE, which is available now. He directed the horns in the Hawaiian swing band Kahulanui, winners of three 2018 Na Hoku Awards, and can also be found playing at Manta in the Mauna Kea Hotel and other places with the likes of   Gary Washburn, Warren Kaneohe, Peak and the Castaways (aka Ricardo & Friends).

Richard Russell, a..k.a. Ricardo, is a "singer-songwriter" and music producer who has released ten albums of mostly original material since 1995 – including the latest, called "Ricardo & Friends – LIVE AT THE CHURCH," which was recorded in Seattle in 2017. This group includes Jesse and Brian, and is called the Castaways. We perform in Kohala now and then…in 2016 Richard  produced the Slippersons "Boundaries" album, which was nominated for a 2017 NaHoku Award for Jazz Album of the Year. He also produced the 2015 Red Water Trio album entitled "The Jazz Angle." Besides creating music in Kohala, Richard periodically produces benefit concerts in the Pacific Northwest under the umbrella Seattle Secret Music.

Bassist Brian McCree was a pillar of the Boston music scene for decades, performing with Bobby Hebb, Alan Dawson, Jackie Byard, Pharoah Sanders and a long list of others. In 2003, he moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, where he's played with many people including the Castaways (aka Ricardo & Friends). Brian won a Hoku award in 2020 for his work with Larry Dupio.
